Real Wedding: Forest Fantasy

Have you noticed that almost every wedding I've posted has been outdoors? That's no coincidence, y'all. I absolutely adore outdoor weddings! When it comes to fresh air nuptials, Irene + Evan's wedding takes the cake (pun intended). I seriously can not stop staring at Irene's stunner of a wedding gown; it is seriously perfection. And her hair piece? To die for! As if her ensemble isn't jaw-dropping enough, the forest surrounding their special day is awe inspiring. After a brief view of these gorgeous photos by Tanja Lippert I just know you'll agree.

Doesn't this wedding just make your heart smile? I think it's time to plan a summer camping trip in the forest!

Real Wedding: Whimsical Charm

Goodness gracious, I know I say this every time, but I've fallen in love with yet another wedding! Being a DIY fan myself, I have a deep respect for anyone who knows their way around arts & crafts. Let me tell you, Angelica does. She and Ben got married at his family's beautiful country home in Virginia, and their entire wedding was filled with hand-made additions by Angelica and her sisters. The best creation for her big day, though? Her dress. This beautiful bride hand-crafted her very own wedding gown! Don't take my word for it, though. Take a gander at these beautiful photos shot by the ever-talented photographers at Something Pretty.

I just love all of these intimate, hand-crafted details. Which details would you add to your special day? I'm a huge fan ofAngelica's multi-colored ukelele that she played during the ceremony.

So Very Grateful

I apologize for being so MIA recently, but I have been one busy gal! Between a vacay to Gulf Shores, Alabama, my very best friend Sam coming to visit for a week, and planning the ski team's annual tournament, the Polar Bear Classic, I don't think I've had a moment to breathe! That being said, imagine my excitement when I opened up a package from Marley Lilly today to find this little gem:

Talk about southern hospitality! Maybe this little blog of mine will be famous one day after all!

Have a great weekend everyone, and check back next week because I have a few wedding shoots in mind that are going to knock your socks off!

Ceek Necklaces

Any true Texas girl knows you can never have too much cross jewelry, so imagine my excitement when I spotted these little lovelies from Ceek online today.

I absolutely love them all! Each necklace can be found here, and for only $56 I'd say they're quite the steal.

Happy shopping!
